My battery lamp went on lately and after 4-5 days without starting my cerbera's battery went flat.
I have changed the battery to a new one, now is ok but the red light for the battery is still on. It only goes off when i use the car for 10-15 minutes and more. Maybe is a sign for anything else?

Hi, sounds like the diode pack on the alternator has gone, best to leave battery disconected untill fixed as it will just keep on draining power away.

Another possible cause is that the 100A fuse has failed.

Yep, more than likely the fuse, certainly should be first port of call.

Yep, the exact same thing happened to me. Bought a new battery having had the old one tested (kept the old one though) and that died too. Turned out to be a corroded terminal on the Big Fuse. So £1.50 later, an over night charge on the old baterry and a refund on the new one every thing was tickety boo!
