Which event? Just 'The Snooker' is a broad range! World Championships at Sheffield? British Open or UK Championship?

Have you tried the WPBSA website for dates for the ranking events? (Google 'WPBSA' it works, honest!)

If it's for the World Championships you'll need to go direct to the venue, that'll be your best bet.

After hearing Ronnie's outburst recently, do you reckon we'll start to see X-factor style voting on which colour ball they should pot after each red?

Might slow the game down a bit, but hey, think of the money they could generate from the voting biggrin

Funny this topic should crop up. Im sat here on a nightshift having not long ago watched the conclusion to the masters final, and decieded to have a look myself. First thing ive found, is that prices vary a lot. Take these prices for the Welsh Open next month:

http://www.worldticketshop.com/snooker/welsh_open_...

Welsh Open 17-02-2009 Unreserved Seats - 1PM SESSION
Start: Price: € 59,00 (£ 53,10) Venue: Newport Centre, Newport, United Kingdom

So above thats just over £53 for the 1pm session on the 17th Feb.

Here below we have a choice of buying a ticket for the 1pm session, 7pm session, or an all day ticket. For this example, I'll buy the all day ticket (which im thinking about anyway!)

http://www.seetickets.com/welshopen/event.asp?e|ar...

Same day, Same venue, but with an all day ticket.

£15 + £1.25 booking fee + £1.50 transaction fee. A total of £17.25 and a saving on the above ticket of £36!

That will pay for my fuel getting there if i go!
