I noticed while watching Sky News this morning (hotel room in Warsaw, no other choice) that Alistair Darling is going bald.

Clearly the stress is getting to him!

I guess being bald is better than looking like a badger?

You'd think that in 10 years someone would have mentioned this to him, yet after all that time he is still one of our Nations celebrated s!

Darling has his uses. He mumbles misleading and incorrect predictions about the future economy whilst Brown & Mandelson get on with his job.

Will probably go down as one of the biggest puppet politicians of modern times, slightly behind the current President of Russia.

Looks like an 'MG' - none of those left for him to suck.

He has funny eyebrows and a face only a politicians wife could love.

I think Alistair Darling has done really well for someone with down syndrome.

It could be worse..... He could be Gordon Brown.

History caught in a photo, the exact moment Gordon Brown realised he had a way out of the mess he's caused.

"Of course.....I can blame him instead".

Gordon Brown is dead isn't he? Look at that sorry lifeless face. He's a cadaver masquerading as our PM.

Yes, I saw some of that. He has aged a lot, and he didn't exactly look healthy then.

He's dead I tell you. Probably kicked the bucket in about 2000 and has been moved around on bits of string ever since.

General Melchett: Darling?

Darling: Yes sir?

General Melchett: You are a complete arse.

Amazing how prescient Bladder was.

You could almost swear that Gordon Brown has actually based himself on the Melchett characters, first the Chancellor in Blackadder II and then the General in Forth. Even more amusing that they gave him a foolish jumped up whipping boy named Darling. Oh look...
