Am with Nationwide

Currently on a fixed rate until July of 6.18%

Is there any way I can come off that and be put on the BMR of 3.5% early?

Also, any idea how long these rates will last? I have this horrible feeling rates will rise before I get to remortgage.

Probably have to pay the early repayment charge, sometimes these can be quite expensive!
Im sure Scotal will be along to help soon..

There will be early redemption charges laid out in your mortgage documentation. Alternatively you can just ring them and they will work it out for you, as it may change depending on how far through the fixed term you are

Yes, the early repayment charge is high, and I assumed that'd be payable, but had a doubt as I was not moving house, borrwing more, just changing to their BMR and thought there 'may' be something that means I can move to that...

Not to worry
