Paid for my car-park ticket today, inserted it into the machine by the barrier, barrier opened, drove forward - barrier came crashing down 
Luckily, it landed 1 inch above the bonnet, a few inches in front of the windscreen. In a higher car who knows what sort of damage would have been done...?

I saw a video clip of similar a little while back.....
..not sure where (might have been PH) but was a man in a Ferrari drophead, came out of car park, revving engine to pose at eye-candy - must have left it too long coz barrier smacked him straight on his bonce, knocking him into a slumped heap in the car
