It says "Oven safe" but what is that handle made of.
I could be interested as im looking for somehting like that that I can use under the grill

I think the handle is made of some type of plastic, and can be used up to 200c

The reason it's cheap is because it weighs an absolute ton - fair enough if you need / want the exercise. However I can't see many wimmin lifting that, fully loaded.

True, there are rather heavy, but they do have enough space for a proper full english breakfast. smile

Funny enough I was given a book years ago called "Cooking for Blokes" and it suggested picking up Le Cruet type stuff second hand as women find it too heavy to use regually so flog it to get something lighter.
