Looking to buy a Noble

Hi all,
Well first post and thought I'd jump strainght in at the deep end.
I currently own a Lotus Elise sport 135 and looking to purchase a noble M12, I have a budget of around £20k and was looking for some advice from guys on here who have either owned one or can pass advice on what to look out for...
If I'm honest I'd sooner buy from somebody who is a member of a forum such as this as other memebers have knowledge of the car etc, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Oh yeh I was CN yesterday looking at the one they've got up for sale, but if I'm being honest they've always been known to be a bit pricey and that still hasn't changed...
I really want one which has been somebody's baby, once in my paws, it'll be a pure weekend toy and not used unless the sunshine is melting the flags (so about 2 days a year I hear you shout lol).

Good choice of car great time to buy, I won't try and give you any advice there are others on here who will guide you much better than I can. I have owned Lotus Elise's, Exiges 1 and 2 and you will find the pace of the Noble in a dfferent league (forsaking the honda'd cars ofcourse).
You wont regret it.

Maybe I should save a little more, it's certainly not bad advice...
I've had the elise now for 4 years and she's my pride and joy, I've spent the last 2 years rebuilding her, didn't need it, but one job led to another if you know what I mean... Here we are £4k lighter but she's like new....
I'll keep my options open but like the idea of a a 3l motor, have heard they pull like a fooker... Plenty of low end torque.... just what everybody loves

4k on a rebuild...
If you get a car with std diff then expect to pay close to that just to get the LSD fitted.
So if you get a 5spd then make sure it has an LSD.
Track day sump is only needed if you ever want to go on a track.
If you end up with a 2.5 then make sure it has had the ECU upgrade and fan upgrade.
Don't be put off by people who have had their local garage do servicing and repairs as it is widley reported on here that not all is good with some of the Noble service stations.
I f I was buying again right now I would look at a 3R. There are other non major Mods to do but some of these may also have been done.

I have had the Noble for nearly two and half and its been an awesome experience, the only reason I am selling it is because I need something more practical to use everyday.
From my experience reliabilty has been superb, other than usual servicing costs the only thing I have replaced is a windscreen wiper arm which Noble delivered within a couple of days for under £40. Servicing is a bit pricey but for the performance you get its not bad. The only other thing I would say is if you do take the car out in the vey wet the seal on the the doors can let a bit of water in. I spoke to Noble about this and they said this is something that happens and you wont stop it.
I would recommend one especially as prices have now come down.
