Has anyone on here used EBC brake pads and disc's? I saw them advertised in a American car mag and they listed the 04-07 GTO. As they are made in the UK it might be a cost efective upgrade, what do you think?
What car have you got? Don't think they would be suitable for a VXR, and am not even sure GTO brakes are same as CV8.
The boyz from the 'fish would probably know more.

Monkfish I take it you mean the disc is the same size?
Will the brake pad be better than standard ? (more feel and stopping power)
Don't forget I get confused without any effort........

Operating our usual principle, "if i wouldn't fit it to my own car we dont sell it" we dont sell EBC pads.

@MOnkfish - which pads do you recommend for standard disks/calipers?
We offer either standard or Performance Friction pads. The PF pads will give improved resistance to fade as well as reducing the propensity for leaving deposits on the disc leadingg to high spots, which are felt as brake judder.
Details on the website.

1+ for PF Pads.

The pad material transfer theory sound plausible but my measurements:

still look like a simple warp. I'm happy with the stopping performance, pedal feel etc. I just want brakes which don't judder for sensible money.

Even Ap's judder.
So what does that say about ALL brakes on the Ro's?
Has anyone owned another car with brake judder similar to the Ro's? it seems a bit too common place on the Ro's compared to other marques.

they seem hit and miss, some reports of pad seperation/disintigration but I've never had issues. However, I dont use them on the Ro, I use the Monkfish pads
Stig are you coming to this meet or not. I need to book the table for the meal afterwards withing the next day or so.
