Probably not very interesting to you guys in the UK, but I'm looking at buying an Elise in Belgium which was originally RHD but has been converted to LHD. Could this result in any problems or the handling not being as it should?

Also, the car was imported in Belgium in 2008, had it's timing belt replaced with Peter Smith Sports Cars and was registered V915 LTG. Does anyone know this car or its history?

Thanks a lot!

Might be worth posting on www.mloc.net as Peter Smith Midlands agent.

Wouldn't have thought so if it has an APK and geometry check done - no issue at all.

Not quite sure why you would want to though (other than cost). I recently imported my RHD Elise into Holland (where I live) and have no issue driving it here. It is small enough for it not to be an issue even when overtaking or at a car park.

I bought my first Elise and my previous Exige from Peter Smiths. Doubt you will get anything from them, but you could try David Bonsall in Sales - a very helpful chap on +44 1283 813593.
If you have the V5 or can get the name of the previous owner, I can put a post on MLOC for you as the previous poster suggested as I am a member their too.

I have the name of the first owner, don't want to put it on here for everyone to see though. Can I mail you?
