I'm still not convinced about the brilliance of the Gallardo's 4WD system.
In the final donutting shot, the car is quite clearly only spinning its rear tyres, with the fronts just stationary as they would be in a RWD car!
What sort of system is that?! It's as if there is an open diff between the front and rear axles which means you might as well not bother.
I must admit that did catch me out in drives I've had of the earlier Gallardos. There would be the sort of understeer you would expect in a full-time 4WD car and then suddenly, in a low-grip corner, the tail would swing wildly out as if there was no 4WD at all.
Looked and sounded absolutely awesome mind you!

t?It's not informative, educational or interesting. He's like the middle-aged fat bloke you meet at the pub who bores everyone going on about the track days he's been on! It would be interesting if you did but watching it is dull.
Apologies if you are a Tiff fan, or you are married to him. Heaven forbid. He's right up there in the annoying stakes with Jo Wiley.

Like any donut where you don't want to fly off in every direction, you hold the brakes slightly so the fronts stay still. In the final donutting shot, the car is quite clearly only spinning its rear tyres, with the fronts just stationary as they would be in a RWD car!

Plus you can see the front wheels rolling in the video, they're not being braked.
