I`m soon to be dropping the ajp into my griff, and I`m thinking ahead for the design /routing of the coolant system, I plan to have a radiator/expansion cap at rthe highest point of the system but would like to know what pressure the cap should take, something like 15psi?

anyone have any info on this please.

Should be a blow off pressure a touch of 30 odd PSI.

Most cooling systems run at 1 Bar so a safe margin over this is required. Not sure on specifics of the AJP though.

The cap is from a VW Golf (MkII ?) so the pressure in the AJP won't be anything out of the ordinary.

I`m looking at a radiator style cap rather than the standard, I`ve seen several on ebay around 1bar, just wondered if one of these will do the job.?

1 bar (roughly 15 psi) is typical and I'd be very surprised to see it more than a couple of psi either side of that.
