I was wondering, has anyone with a damaged S1 Elise gone down this route and if so were they pleased with the results?

Erich, it would be worth putting apost on Seloc. There's a few cars like this about and the ones I've seen have looked terrific.
Only worth doing if you got the power to back it up though (IMO).

a very popular way of "repairing" an Elise - theres even quite a few S2 Elise owners with S2 Exige clams on now

still needs fitting (lots of labour) prepping (more labour) and spraying, badges + sundries ...so basically the price of a cheap S1 Elise ...if you have an old S1 thats worth £7K do you want to spend another £6K on the body?
