At last some forward progress on my Griff... It's all happening this week - new exhaust, the extra-strong rebuilt diff is finished and the new brake upgrade parts are made. (And I bought a Range Rover, but that's another story wink )

Big thanks to Lord Grover for getting the brackets and other things made.

Parts for brake upgrade - 324mm discs and Brembo calipers

Testing the caliper bracket on the hub. It fits quite well. Laser cutting parts seems to work well smile

Parts all assembled so clearances can be checked. I need to remove 1mm from the spacers.

Disc nicely sits in the middle of the caliper when the shims are the right size.

With a bit of luck I will be collecting some Compomotive MO6 wheels next week to fit over the excessive brakes wink

I’m glad to hear it’s coming together again, the brakes look good.

What was the solution to the ‘no longer available’ outer bearing?

I used the 17mm wide bearing you suggested and had some 2mm shims made. The whole thing cost £300, so all-in-all it worked out pretty well.

324! How do you fit those inside your wheels? I fitted the 300mm from Tower View, and they just snag, and had to fit spacers.

Crikey when are you ever going to generate enough grip to need 324mm brakes on a Griff? We only use 330mm on our race car with slicks and aero! It will look impressive though I'll give you that wink
