that could be a good reasonf or not getting back to me. Left a message on the chaps mobile phone so it would have been good to have heard back.

Anyone know anywhere else to get some decent nuts? Not happy with the standard TVR ones.

My manual should be here soon, next week I hope....The Shiny Nuts will be the same as for a Tuscan I guess, which are shorter than the Griff/Chim ones, different thread and of course you need 5 rather than 4. Pretty sure Jeremy Smith has stopped doing them, but if you ring round some dealers you might find someone with old stock... Automedon had a few sets, possibly Leven or Racing Green.

Not Trading anymore? If thats true, then thats a real shame - shiney nuts are a genuine home grown quality product.

I tried to get some and they told me they were not making them anymore. Eventually I found a place in the States that did some stainless capped nuts. They cost about £45 inc P&P to the UK for a set of 20 which is far less than the £100 for the shiny nuts version. I will dig out where I purchased them from and drop you a mail.

The size is as stated, 1/2 inch UNF with 60deg taper.

Dear god, you'd think they'd have the brains to take their website down then...

If they had it done for them, as seems likely, and they've ceased trading, who will pay for any work required? Yes, it may only be a few pounds worth to delete the site and maybe put up a "So long and thanks for all the fish" page, but why should anyone pay for that?

There was a post only a few months ago (not years) where the proprietor explained the reasons for not continuing supply. At the time, I recall he had stock remaining on certain applications but not others (perhaps hence the site continuing). A shame IMO as a quality product but all seemed entirely reasonable at the time and certainly not a case of anyone else's doing (was only a sideline I believe).

I believe it was something to do with the price of the Stainless steel going so high. (I may be wrong)
