Hashing - 'The Drinking Club with a Running Problem'

Morning all,

Does anyone participate with any of the Hashers? (Hashers are walkers/joggers/runners who like to drink) I am looking to find a local Hash meet to try and get my fitness levels up, I have done one or two before and had a great time.

I am located in Hampshire (on the surrey/berkshire borders)!

There are lots in Berkshire, particularly around Reading area. A google search will sort you out. If you get in touch with a local running club, they will also be able to point you in the right direction.

umm, now is this about getting drunk till you can still just about walk then running it off?

kinda defeats the object of both really.

I found a trail of sawdust blobs around my way the other day and expected the pub to be drunk dry

I had to copy a few videos of the world get-togethers they have - boy, do those people get steamed!!!!

Joined an HHH run in Koh Samui a few years back and managed to get myself lost in the jungle! I should have waited until after the run before gettign stuck into the beers, but at least the alcohol numbed the pain of being stung by all sorts of deadly jungle weeds.

Hmmm, somewhat different I imagine to running the suburbs of Reading! What a location to go running though (Koh Samui that is)!
