London to Leeds

I have to do the above journey on Saturday to pick up a car with a mate, any petrolhead sugestions of where we can stop on the way? I have already thought about the National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham, Thanks

Birmingham's a bit out of the way isn't it? I'd say get off the M1 north of Sheffield and blast round the peak district/Yorkshire dales. If you're into your bikes a lot of people go to Bakewell, Matlock and Matlock bath. Donnington's near Nottingham.

T'is very good and not very far off the M1, spend less time travalling and more time drooling over the cars.
