Hi Wadgebeast
I have sometimes left the casstte in the overnight but not in the cold I don't think?
Hi pdV6
I have tried 2 or 3 different cassettes but no joy my brother suggested I clean the heads but have been looking for a cassette head cleaner but cannot find one in the shops. Also how easy is it to get the old radio/cassette player out and new one in?
Thanks

Can't remember what they're like on these cars. Suspect they're not a standard shape and size. If they are a standard size, then it's a doddle (ask any chav teenager!). There's a couple of push holes on either side of the case. Push them in with the ends of a coat hanger or a pair of slim screwdrivers and then pull the case out of the hole. The electrical connections are normally! on some sort of plug, but you never know with Italian electrics. Either way, you'll probably need to remove the wires from the plug and prepare them for the new unit. There'll be a red and a black lead for the power. Everything else is for speakers (8 in total) and a thick brown one for the aerial. You could buy one from halfrauds and they'll do it for nothing, but it does depend on how much you spend. Thanks
