Watched it last week (twice). It contains some superb footage from Brooklands.

Wasn't bad but some of the footage shown bore no relation to what the narrator was talking about. In one section they were discussing the advent of the sports car in the 1920s whilst showing clips from a pre World War 1 Grand Prix race.

That's kind of what I meant; I found the Brooklands footage more interesting than the narrative.

I persuaded my OH, who had visited Brooklands for the first time the previous weekend, to watch it to get a flavour of racing there rather than learn about the Bentley/Mercedes rivalry which I thought was treated in a lightweight, rather superficial manner.
