Mercedes A Class 'C' Service - Good garage in North West?

Hi

A friend of mine needs his A Class servicing. Its a 56 plate still under warranty. Do any of you know any good garages in the North West that can carry out the service without affectinig the warranty?

I believe Kwik Fit can but he doesnt fancy it!

I would like to point out a place to AVOID!!!!

I got in trouble for naming and shaming this place so all I will say is that it is in the Rossendale Valley going away from Rochdale.

Feel free to PM me for specifics.

However feel free to go there if you want...

- to be charged for new suspension linkages (758 quid) when all they really do is take up the slack in the rollbar bushes by wrapping them in tape
- cheap, thick 20/50 oil. So thick the motor stalls immediately after start on a cold day
- charging for filters that haven't been replaced
- ficticious changing of rear "hub bushes"

Not sure where exactly in the NW you are but I've used Ball & Hargreaves on the A6 north of Preston for my last 3 services and they seem very good. Apparently their servicing does not affect warranty although my cars are 6 and 16 years old respectively so not a particular issue for me!
