Have got to replace the rear tyres and wondered whether to change brand (Bridgestone Potenza) and also go for slightly wider tyres (from 255/35/18 to 265's).
The car is only really used in good to fair weather and I have seen good things about the 888's any other suggestions?
I tried the search function but didnt come up with much else.

888`s are ok if your intending to use the car on a track as well as road,so i`ve read,I have just bought Toyo T1-R`s to replace the T1-S`s on my car which are reported to be a 25% improvement in the dry and are better for road use than 888`s from what i can gather.

for fair weather 888's are the mutts nuts-nothing else at present coms close to the grip level and predictability.

on 16's you want 245 45's

on 17's you want 255 40's
