Phers favourite coffee
Discussion
Hi folks, just after opinions regarding coffee and who likes what. In the process of extending our icecream parlour to include a coffe shop, and i've been (no pun int) looking at some of the many companies selling coffee beans and machines. Anyway i've bought a machine independantly so i'm not tied. Looking for a good quality coffee that will have a wide appeal and maybe a decaf aswell.
Thanks Dave.
Thanks Dave.
If you want to get a reputation for serving great coffee contact the Monmouth Coffee company in Monmouth St, London. In my experience the roast the best coffees available and are extremely knowledgable and helpfull. They sell wholesale as well as retail and will advise you as to what coffees are good at the moment.
It took me years to find them and I can't recomend them highly enough.
Kenya - Gethumbwane Estate is particurlaly good at the moment, and a couple of their Brazilians are realy good too. What is best changes with the seasons and individual harvests.

I take it it beans your after. I have tried loads and keep going back to Sainsburys continental blend. It's quite cheap as they have buy two for £1.95 each (250g packs). Half the price of Whitards and Web companies and much nicer. I have tried most in whitards and bought a few online but don't know a great deal about coffee.
