Anyone able to identify his watch from the programme - its a big rectangular one - Franck Muller??

I do like the look of it.

I was wondering this too.

Thought it might be a richard mille at first, but not sure now.

Anything like the one Massa was wearing for testing the 2009 Ferrari?

Not quite as square as that - more rectangle.

Programme is on again tonight C4 9pm!

I've tried to google to see if I could get a picture of him with it on but no success.

This is probably not the best picture but might help linky

He's cheaper than you think! Firstly he was wearing one of these

and in last night's episode I caught a glimpse of the strap for one of these

about £2k and £3k respectively.

It was definitely what I posted above, the crown and chrono pushers are very distinctive and that was what I noticed about his watch.

Honestly, who'd pay £2-3k for a Raymond Weil?!

as the owner of a nabucco as pictured above (the chronograph) though admitedly with the plain steel braclet as i was not keen on the carbon look , and in fairness i only paid 1795 for it, i think it is a good looking watch with a movement made by the same people as a rolex or breitling, do you feel it to be a poor quality make???

I love the look of the Nabucco I've pictured above but my Wife bought me a RW Tango Sport for my Birthday last year and I had to return it, the dial wasn't set straight in the case and smaller red print wasn't legible. I was more than slightly peeved even at its modest £875 price tag.

For me personally I'm a Breitling fan and I think compared to what I could get for the same money as the Nabucco, the two companies are worlds apart.

Just my own opinion of course.

I'm not sure about Rolex, thought they used in-house movements apart from a Zenith in the Daytona for a while but I'm by no means an expert. Also I don't think Heston's watch is a Raymond, his looks too chunky to me but I didn't get a good look at it on TV though.

All,

I have wonderd for ages what his watch is. Just seen Big Chef Little Chef tonight and made me wonder again.

Does anyone thing it might be one of these.

Zenith Port Royal Rectangle Grande Date Big Date Automatic Chronograph

http://www.swisswatchesdirect.co.uk/watches/03_055...

Wont be a current model I dont think as he has had it ages.

By the way the board of directors at Little Chef are a bunch of numpties. Cant believe a CEO of a company would hang up a phone on someone trying to help them. Could of been a bad line, but didnt look that way on TV.

Got the others to see yet. Good challenge for Heston this one.

Richy,

He was deffo wearing the two watches I posted above. The chrono pushers were a dead giveaway.

Totally agree about that Director, what a spoon!!

Hi all
The watch HB was wearing in the little chef program was an ebel Tarawa chronograph.
I have owned mine for about 4 years not very common at all, wasn't sure at first but a few freeze frames on the old sky hd confirmed it, you can tell by the 3 curves of the sapphire crystal face and the clasp.
Don't know how to post pictures but I'm sure if you google it will show up.
I've only ever seen one twice , 1: in goldsmiths birmingham(which I bought rrp £4000 paid £3500 after a lot of haggling), 2: In Harrods.
Absolutely gorgeous watch with a crystal back with a very attractive working and pendulum.
