Pictures of an s1 please??......

Just my baby up from having its shocks and springs fitted......i just want to compare how it now sits to another series one
It seems a little high alltho the suspension is on its lowest setting
Maybe they will drop a bit.......on the plus side the bonnet now opens fully

Don't worry about it. Mine looked the same when I had my shocks done. The contrast between the before and after is so great that it takes a little getting used to. Just think how bad the old shocks were and rejoice in your new handling.....

Mart - I'd heard that the bonnet not opening fully was a sign that the springs were shot - I guess the fact that you can NOW open it is indicative of the state of your old ones!!

BTW - bible quote heigh of S1 as 1117mm - if thats any help...

I keep looking at it and the better it looks
The old shocks were absolutley screwed..it drove 200% better on the way back from the garage...i cant wait for the drive home now
The suspension seems to have settled a bit now so i am not going to worry about it!
Just got the rattly exhaust to sort now

My Bonnet doesnt open fully, it hits the floor before it gets to the point it should, I guess this means my springs are shot then???

Any suggestions as to what shocks/springs are best? Which did you buy MartS1??

Bloody hell it must be a monster truck!

(Unless that measurment is from the top of the winscreen to the floor and not the ground clearance!
