Woodburners and building regs

I am looking for a woodburner and have seen the buiding regs document, but am unsure how to tell
whether a stove I buy will conform. Can anyone tell me what documentation has to come with a stove or if it needs a plate or marking/kitemark or somesuch, so that it would be acceptable to a building inspector? It's a self install rather than HETAS installer.
