Hi

I'm looking to get one of these as soon as possible

Any advice as to what to look out for on the transmission/engine when viewing please

I'm looking for an unmolested 95/96 version in light metallic or white with FSH, if anyone knows of anything available

Many thanks

I've found a buyers guide for the 2wd version but I remember there being a 4wd buyers guide as well but can't find it. http://www.fastfordmag.co.uk/resources/fastford/24...

I've found my copy of performance ford from 2004. Which has the 4x4 buyers guide. I've not got access to a scanner until I get in to work tomorrow but will post it for you to download.

Not one of Ford's greatest moments I'm afraid, they're agricultural at best.

Transfer boxes go, and replacements are as rare as rocking horse poo. just make sure you do your research properly, and it may well be worth joining a Ford / Escort specific forum to get the lowdown.

It begs the question-why? The 2WD version would be a better bet IMO.
