Would you swap a peugeot 106 Y reg. for a ford focus T reg?


I have a y reg 106 and it is a 1.1. It doesn't have power steering, and doesn't have electric windows, and has a leak which always makes the back seats wet if we get rain.
I have been offered a £1000 for it, and then a family friend said they will sell me their 1.6 T reg ford focus for £1000 which has power steering and electric windows etc.

My 106 has done 60,000 miles, where the focus has done 70,000 miles.

What would you do?

Values sound about right, BUT the Focus will cost you £185 to tax this year and if you've still got it in April 2010, £200. Makes a big dent in second hand values of old cars in my opinion.
