Was just having a look at V8HSV's details and it appears his Clubby does the 1/4 mile in 12.15 and as AFAIK this appears to be the record for an HSV or Monaro on this forum.

.. just reading gmhtp and their heads/cam only GTO/Monaro did a low 11 sec run (4sp auto)

Has Harry done the 1/4 in the beast yet? Surely that's the quickest. And Ringram what do you expect from yours? That's gotta be up there without the heat soak the SC guys suffer.

No idea yet mate. Still early days.

Can you be sure to let us know when your going to do it. It would be great to be there to see it. Having followed the progress you kinda want to see the resultyes

I refer you to that low 10 sec US Monaro from youtube which was a manual. Manuals can work fine.
Its all in the technique smile

Very true and since Im paying for the gearbox, diff, drive shafts etc I wont be dropping the clutch with drag radials!
