Any City boys/Dealers out there. Advice please.

I've been using Barclays Stockbrokers online Marketmaster for my dealings for the last six months or so. Not too bad BUT the big problem I'm now finding is that there can be as much as a one hour delay between hitting send on a deal and it actually being carried out. Not funny in the current market. Can anyone suggest a better alternative for home trading?

As a PI I have used www.selftrade.co.uk with no problems. It's fairly quick.
