Tight-wearing etiquette!

My OH tells me it's fashionable these days for the modern man to wear tights in these cold and harsh winter months but I'm not so sure. I have tried wearing them before (when my OH was out the house of course!) but I found them ever so uncomfortable, especially when my enormous manly legs bulge out at various places and 'ladder' (I believe that's the correct term?) the tights, what are your opinions on this? She's trying to convince me it's all the rage, but I can't help but feel she's simply trying to make me wear tights infront of her and fullfil her transvestite OH fantasy that I've been suspecting her of. What do you think?
