Bugger all, I would imagine. The government have pretty big carpets with room for loads to get swept underneath them.

Quite the opposite, they are entirely controlled by members of the govt and are rapidly losing their 'independent' status.

Well we are basically living in a police state so it'll start happening more often I would think.

Even more interesting that towards the end goal of having a Police state is that the PCSOs are employed and are loyal to the Home office and not the Crown like normal Police are.

Absolutely.

The powers that be control so much more now. I listened on radio2 yeaterday as the announced how Mandleson had turned around the Labour party.

The Police, the BBC, and most mainstream media are puppets played by Downing Street.

From what I read of it I wondered if the MP with the odd name has English as his first language.

The more they do this, it means the more worried they're getting.

I have no problem with most MP's given a thorough looking over by the Police without a warrant.

Just see where it goes to next. That's the big issue here.

Actually a coup would be quite good. If we kill off all the current MP's might be a lot better run country.

Sorry but why?

No-one should have ANYTHING intercepted by the police without a warrant IMHO.

I was under the impression that the Police are all effectively employed by the Government (Home Office), whilst the armed forces are employed by the Crown?

What I find just as uncomfortable as the Police action is this elected representative cravenly rolling over to comply with their request (which is all it was) and then having the front to stand up back in the HoC and act all indignant about it whilst hiding behind Parliamentary Privilege.

Hypocritical bd.

No, a Police Officer is an agent of the Crown.
