informed by other half this morning that the shower had died ?

found that one of the brushes on the motor was loose.

rang shower peeps for replacement brushes ..........no sorry have to buy new motor @£90

brushes would be pence.........furious

were can i get brushes from

Have you actually seen the brushes yet? or is it one of those silly sealed unit motors?

I used these people once for a power tool brush when I was told I had to replace the whole product.

can see the brushes one is loose and arcing on commutator.

if i can fix itbiggrin , will only mean have i to buy a motor if i knack it trying to fix it

Try google - there are companies that can supply replacement parts at a fraction of the cost...

My shower (Triton ste) went wrong after 19 months and the cheeky buggers wanted £60+p&p for a replacement part, I managed source the same part for £27 (inc. p&p)...
