Warranty and trackdays
Discussion
Dom and I took on BMW last year and won a pretty spectacular victory (my stubbornness and his inside knowledge) - BMW re-writing the warranty to include track days... but in the process, we spoke to Porsche and asked them if track days were acceptable under the terms of their warranty... their reply was...
...of course, we build proper sports cars.
Nuff said I think.
Edited to point out that damage caused by taking GT3's into cat litter will NOT be covered!

O/T... visited your linked sites GetCarter- I just got back from cruising the Hebrides, spent Tuesday walking in Shieldaig followed by the night moored in upper Loch Torridan! Truly beautiful.

May well take you up on that GetCarter, won't be for a year or so though unfortunately, you're *very* lucky to have a home up there.
pesty- I was using it wrong I think.... I bought a second car for everyday use and relegated (promoted?) the GT3 to a weekends and evenings plaything, at least for a little while. The car seems to reward hard driving on good roads and having taken it on the track for the first time I found it absolutely unbelievable... dare I say as good as, in fact probably better than my Caterham! Tonight's Top Gear summed the car up very nicely.

It's good, but IMHO not as good as your Caterham unless you own a 1600 /flow live axle previously owned by Iguana and driven sideways all its life.
The GT3 is a little more remote than the Caterham, doesn't quite give the raw feedback. It is undeniably very good for a road car, tho'.
Interestingly, the 964RS is much closer to a Caterham than a GT3 in raw feedback, but still can't quite get to that level. Maybe 9m's 993RSR racecar gets a tad closer - dunno until I can get behind the wheel
The Caterham is still a benchmark after all these years. I imagine Radicals may move the game on even further, but haven't driven one of those.
