One rule for one......

just a couple of observations during my journeys yesterday.
5 mile stretch of bib with no. plate recognition camera van, then speed trap vans - both sides of road (one was a white transit with blacked out rear windows with just a round ball/camera on the roof) undercover cars, VOSA and motorcycle back up.
No problem with that - just doing their job I suppose.
However. why are they allowed to do the following?
Motorcycles undertaking on motorway at significantly more than the speed limit without any lights on.
Motorcycle came up behind me at approx 100 mph ( i was doing 70 bang on), again without lights on, I got out his way and he was swiftly followed by 4 undercover cars, each travelling at similar speeds to the bike, about 2 inches from each other...... again with no lights or reason for what they were doing ( i know this because there were road works ahead and they all slowed down, so they were not in pursuit)
Then to cap it all, when i got into the road works (40mph) i ended up with 2 more bikes tailgating me, so at the end of the zone i indicated out and started accelerating upto the national speed limit, only to find one of the 2 bikes nearly on the gravel trying to out run me! I pulled back in and let him go and then the second came alongside me and gave me a "long stare".
Pi$$ed me off that these guys had spent ALL DAY catching speeding motorists and then quite gleefully broke every rule in the book as they drove home!
