Engine Dyno result
Discussion
Roger gave me a call last night to let me know how the dyno went on my engine and all went well we a both pleased with the result of..
706bhp / 640ft @ 9psi
Theres the option to go up to 12psi but Roger doesnt want to risk it on the engine and also the fact it will prob make the car undriveable
Engine details are here...
http://www.monkfishperformance.co.uk/HSVGTSLS2.htm...
I'll get up the Dyno details as soon as i recive them and there should be a video too, not that it shows much. Of course all this will drop when its back in the car but that also wanted mapped 100% as the standard injectors where maxed out and im having larger ones fitted but least its heading in the right direction
Cheers Roger and Monkfish for all there work on the car and hopefully can get some pictures up of the car all back together

Not quite. The uprated injectors were not big enough

So we will fit bigger still!granada203028 said:
Amazing, but how does the rest of the power train cope, the gearbox, prop and diff?
Well I`d guess (and untill it does break it would be rather foolish to replace with stronger anyway as it would be the same cost)
I`m putting driveshafts on the `disposable items` list as they are less than the cost of a tyre and should last longer. (Much cheaper than a super replacement)

All the interesting stuff, not just the boring cover page that makes people (like me) fall asleep

Harry's T56 is still going ok. Its usually the rear end that complains, and unless you have gone forged piston's they are the weakest point engine-wise.

7 litres, Twin turbo, streetable

I already knew that. How about parts spec's etc. I beam, H beam, rod length, piston material 4032/2618 and brand etc (Im assuming 2618), compression ratio, crank brand, callies? valve springs PSI?, push rod diameter etc 3/8?
All the interesting stuff, not just the boring cover page that makes people (like me) fall asleep
I know you know that
Im sure an american on a forum somewhere can fill in on what specs are needed for this job. Meanwhile, we will do it our way
