I stongly encourage everyone to forget Valentines day. It tacky at best, a commercialised emotional bribe at worst.

I like to think I can (and do) treat my g/f well on any given day and I certainly dont want to take part in a pre-arranged, over-priced, over-subscribed evening of tat to prove I have affection for her.

Thankfully, the g/f feels the same. If I was to do anything, I'd cook at home, balls to getting had over with the price of meals/flowers etc.
