Pretty ironic really, we were funding the terrorism against us, and now we can't afford to do that any more they will have to find something else to do :PIt's still not exactly quiet though - there's a lot of plots and things uncovered it's just most of them don't make it to the papers as there's no real public interest in it I don't think these days.
Of course that's the way it should have been from the beginning - rather than panicking and clamping down on rights we should have done exactly what we did with the IRA over all those years - IE, as much as possible keep on with business as usual. As soon as you start changing your daily routine and having to do things differently as a reaction to them, they've started to claw back some influence.
