For weeks they've been busy, hatching the new look. Thinking of key phrases, but most of all, waiting, just waiting. Until that day, the day they can now at last, thank God, unveil the new logo!

On our local BBC TV news 'show' a couple of evenings back, they had a local firm who had just won a big new order.

So they decided to launch a daily 'sharing good news' feature and asked for people to call in with good news stories.

I was really impressed. This is the kind of thing we need, I thought; hearing about business success in our region. Kudos to the BBC.

The following night they had the first story for their 'good news' slot.

A blind woman had got a new guide dog.

How gutted would they be if the recession only lasted a short time, you can garantee they have spent a fortune on this logo and it will be featured on the website and news for weeks and months to come.
