LFW: Where in the world?

Ok, I'm in the happy position of being able to go anywhere in the world, in terms of personal commitments, for work. Obviously I need a visa for anywhere outside the EU.
I have a bit over 2 years of recruitment consultancy experience, covering white collar construction and later IT, including head hunting and lots of business development, and plenty of other sales besides that. My first choice would be recruitment but open to other roles as well.
On the downside we're in the middle of the biggest global recession in living memory, but hey ho.
So where would you go and why?
I've lived in Australia and New Zealand, and fun as it was not keen to go back there. I was very keen on Hong Kong but they're suffering a lot from the banking problems at the moment, so I'm looking at other options.
Never been to Dubai but it does have some appeal.
