Any new or "first time" experiences this week?
Discussion
I had an interesting new experience this week. I work with about 12 women, most of them took a dive off the top of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down, but there are some crackers one of whom this week asked me if i wear boxers or pants! I explained i always wear boxers as i find pants a bit restrictive, only to have her look down and promptly point out my other half is a lucky girl!!
Now i consider myself to be broadminded, but this had me embarrased!

Came back from holiday last Friday and the approach to the airport (Exeter) was terrifying. Plane was all over the place due to the high winds. We had to abort the first landing and go around again. Women and children were crying and I was s
tting myself.
Turns out we got lucky. The following flight, an hour later, had three abortive attempts at Exeter, then tried to land some where else (Bournmouth I think) and had to abort that too and ended up landing in London somewhere. While I metaphorically s
t myself, some people on that flight actually did.

"We"?....a) if you were sat in row 1 or higher, don't kid yourself - you didn't play a part on the decision to go-round or not, or b) if you were sitting in one of the fancy electric seats at the very front with the big windows and oodles of TV screens and dials, then either there was a monumental cockup or you need to review your career choice.
