Looks nice, good to see someone else's bonnet has been hit by a 12bore as well , the hood looks new, is it or just renovo'd .

lol! It does look like pretty bad stone chips in the pics, but in actual fact the bonnet is almost immaculate - the white dots you can see are just dirt!

The hood is new - the last owner replaced it at a cost of £1600!

It does look like Mel's got a very tidy S there. Interesting to see the colour coded switch panel - I noticed yesterday that Bridgdav's got the same arrangement (except in green) - seems like quite a good solution to the crackly veneer problem.

I was tempted, but totally knackered after all the excitement and a bit nervous about the drive home (rain and heavy traffic - pretty good test of the S - it passed with top marks). So I decided to give it a miss, but did watch a beamer do a power slide which was a giggle.

I never noticed on the darker pics but on the daylight ones the targa panels are a different colour to the hood. Whats all that about then?

I've not noticed that before either - it may just be down to the light? I'm pretty sure that they look the same when you look at them in the flesh though.

I thought I had posted this earlier but something is obviously amiss. I'll try again.

The panels definitly looked the same colour as the back section in real life.
I have a feeling that since the fabric is so new the "grain" of the fabric is refelcting the light differently and so in a photograph makes it look a different colour.

I wouldn't have expected the 'nap' of the fabric to make such a big difference to the colour. It seems odd how this can show up in a photo and not be evident when you physically look at it.

You learn something new everyday!
