I know it isn't much, but £1k to 'invest' !
Discussion
I have a lot of cash savings, but with rates being so low I thought I would entertain the idea of starting a small watch collection, part of my 'investment' portfolio if you will! I don't really want to suffer any depreciation. Is this realistic?
I can afford to lose the money but I do like the idea of starting a nice collection rather than giving my money to a bank to sit on.
I need a 'daily driver', at around £150. The rest can be spent on one or several watches.
What would you go for?

If it were my money and i was in this for an investment, i would look at second hand vintage watches, something classic. Such as an old omega speed master or something along those lines.
I could however be taking rubbish so wait for someone on here to correct me.

Spot on, there was a speedy on the classifieds here for about £800, absolute steal but vanished now.I could however be taking rubbish so wait for someone on here to correct me.

The monaco chrono at 750 was a good deal too. Could easily punt it for 4-500 more.
