That waste that is spread smell fkin' aweful.I live next to a sewage treatment plant and when they fill up tankers it really is smelly.lucky it is not that often.It's truly scandalous the way GB has been sold down the river

Human waste I would imagine to be OK, but industrial waste is probably a time-bomb waiting to go off. It has cost millions of pounds just to clean the Olympics site of industrial waste contaminants. How much for half of the UK.

It did seem a little convenient that the condom was undamaged and sitting on top of the pile or mulched material in plain view..I reckon the locals have been shagging there, on a pile of human waste.

The farm i help out on in the UK spread human waste on the fields.

it's heat treated and then left for a year in a pile in one of the fields, interestingly tomatoes don't seem to be killed off by the heating process, so after a few weeks the pile is covered in tomato plants and by time to spread it there's a veritable harvest to be had.

I've not seen the video BTW.

Why I should trust such a programme from a group with such vested interests is beyond me. You might as well as the UK Communist party for their opinions on Margaret Thatcher.

We have a guy who spreads such stuff on fields up here in North Wales when he empties septic tanks. Condoms and "wings" survive quite well in his slurry tank which is operated by vacuum. The can end end up windblown into hedges. Very pretty

When I asked if there was a law against dumping untreated sewage I was told the fine was a whopping £10!
