There you go that's this country in a nutshell. Middle England is enraged that the BBC won't show an appeal for aid for Gaza and we are ignoring our own problems.

We'll be getting grain aid from Ethiopia next.

Very clever PR move by Iceland. I'm impressed.

fking speechless.

Vote of no confidence on these useless bds that run this country. NOW! How can we justify giving so much to other countries when WE are the subjects of TV appeals on other countries?!

Emotive statistics, 1 in 12 MAY die.

Strangely enough more old people are dying especially when it is cold.

They have money to pay for fuel but may chose not to.

16% of income goes on fuel if on minimum income guarantee, 6% of my wage goes on fuel (I also have a mortgage etc).

I visit a lot of older people and very few have cold houses, most are that warm I find it uncomfortable in their houses.

What you find cold and what a pensioner finds cold are probably not the same thing. They are like women but worse.

My mother had her heating on flat out when we had that heat wave a couple of years back. One of the reasons is that her circulation was failing and she never felt warm.

The usual sensationalist non-factual screaming headliner statement is "up to 1 in 12, or more, may die".

Just to make sure they cover every possible base yet commit to nothing. Typical media drivel

Sodding Kerry Katona probably had something to do with this.
