Cheap PAYG Phone Needed

I rarely use my mobile phone - £10 call credit has lasted me since June '08 but I am now about to run out. My phone, an ancient Nokia 3310, is also on its last legs.

I'd like a simple phone (Preferably Nokia) without any real gadgets. All I need it for is to make and receive the odd call, and send a few text messages.

My monthly usage is extremely low, usually 10-15 text messages a month and no calls.

I did find a Nokia 1208 for £14.65 with Tesco, with £10 free air-time which would have been ideal, but the deal seems to have gone.

Any recommendations?

There's this Nokia 1650 for £9.73 plus £10 airtime with either Virgin or T-Mobile!!

My colleague is doing the Samsung c300, unlocked for £25 including postage. No need to top up, just put your old sim straight in it. The only problem is, the batch he has are "lavender purple".
I've had a couple to use abroad.

My 3310 died last week, picked up a Sony something or other in Comets, £9.78, does the job, although they did try to sell me a warranty for it.

I got a BNIB Siemens SK65 off ebay a few weeks back- £25. More than a lot of the cheap PayG phones at supermarkets, but it's a lot better overall. Has nice big keys so easy to text, spins to give a full keyboard and has a built-in Blackberry so you can get emails and a low SAR rating, so less of a worry about brain tumours. Also has a unit convertor, so very handy for engineering use and an emergency dictionary, with key phrases if you're abroad.

Siemens phones will last years too- they're German so very well built. They don't make them anymore which is a shame though, and when on sale there was a lot more focus on their simple phones over the better ones, so they didn't sell well.

Can any of these sync with a cable (preferably included) to outlook? and potentially work in the US/Canada?

I have a brick that I use for business purposes but I'd like something smallish that just works as a phone

My Dad bought a basic motorola from Carphone Wharehouse just before christmas for £2.99, no camera or MP3 etc but works as a phone and looks OK.

Got this phone...nice wee cheapie. Does everything you need, plus you can check your emails

Got mine new and unlocked for £40, but that was 6 months back.
