Chaps,

I've been posting generally on PH.com for a few weeks but only just found the Yorkshire forum. Nice to find some fellow car obsessives. I currently drive a Civic Type-R, but it is on the market as I pick up an Elise 111R in 3 weeks. I get to about 20 motor racing events a year with a particular interest in sportscars and historic racing. Maybe see some of you for the Easter meet for a bacon butty?

Cheers chaps! Nice to be here. I'm really going to miss my little Chavhatch - had a pre-facelift model before this one and absolutely love them. Unfortunately once you drive an Elise, you can't go back!

Anyone off to the British GTs and F3 at Oulton Park on Easter Monday? Nice way to start the racing season and the roads around there are great - I grew up about 10 miles from the circuit.

S2000 would be a sweet deal, those VTEC engines are addictive. I'm going to get mine on the classifieds this week. Will be so sad to see it go. Z3M has a stonking engine - my Dad had an E46 M3 for 5 1/2 years from new and never got bored of the soundtrack. I actually prefer it to the new V8.

Hiya mate, I'm afraid it wasn't. I pick up the Elise on Saturday from a fellow PH'er and general good egg. I'm not terribly excited about the idea of learning how to drive a mid-engined car in the snow. Talk about a baptism of fire!

How you enjoying your CTR? I'm going to miss mine like crazy - I love it!

CTR is sorted mate but wish I had another 10k for my old car Mazda RX8 231 then life would be well sorted.

It won't take you long to know how to handle the new beast.......guessing about 5 mins;)
