Everybody will be on to recommend their own car's colour! Choose one you like, Lotus will actually paint a new one specially for you in any colour that the paint manufacturer produces, they just did a couple of stunning 211s, one is in the Team Lotus livery and the other matches Fittipaldi's John Player Special livery from 1972. This of course comes at a price.

My first Elise was Starlight Black and looked stunning. My current one is Chilli Red, which is a 'lifestyle' colour in the same range as Krypton Green and Chrome Orange. (Think very very bright red).

I bought it for 2 reasons, I like red cars (owned 6) and secondly people can't miss seeing it. Unlike Starlight Black where I was continually checking if other road users had seen me arrive in their mirrors. Still check of course, but it's far less of a problem than it was.

Agree to the above, laser blue was 1st choice, infact had to special order it on my 54 plate 111r, but fate (or rather a Jeep Cherokee) saw me forced into my 2nd choice of Storm Titanium, top which just looks so cool............... especially with a hard top.

But it doesn't really matter which colour you choose, its always
