drivers seat adjustment

hi all

got an e46 m3 which blows the fuse for driver seat adjustment when moving the seat forward into the memory setting for my wife. tried replacing the fuse but blows as soon as you push it into place. now it stuck too close to the wheel for me but not close enough for her.

anyone got any ideas?

Its a short of some kind or possibly a fault with the motor. Probably not an easy one to find I guesss it will involve stripping the seat down.
