Alright boys.

Put this in here to avoid the 330/3.0 x type, downward spire that normal 220 threads turn into smile
As i`ve got a st24 it seems the logical next step up for me.

How much different are they to my st in regards to:

Fuel
Speed
Ride
Equipment etc?

Love the shape, looks,i`m fairly sure it`s going to be my next motor!

As a footnote, how much, realistically would i expect to get for my st?

Three owners,55k,pepper red, ffsh, standard apart from twin duplex exhaust ala st200?

Beautiful car apart from a 5p size rust bubble on the osr arch?

Cheers
Lee.

I used to own an ST200, until I moved to an ST220 last June.

Fuel? Actually, seems slightly better both round town and on the motorway. So expect about the same and you'll be fine.

Speed? It is quicker, despite a measly 20bhp difference. Certainly has more torque too.

Ride? Much improved. Firm, but not as crashy as the ST200 was.

Equipment? Leagues ahead. Cruise, heated seats, climate control all standard.

Personally I'd go for the revised car with the 6 speed box, but depends what your budget is like. What will you get for your ST24? Peanuts I'm afraidfrown

The Xtype is too weighed down with 4WD to even start to compete with the 220 for performance, especially upper end speeds. The ST is also a bargain
