OK, I know there is very little chance of enticing any of you into Hampshire however I haven't given up trying.

Next Sunday 1/02/09 I have a SELOC run organised to the Little Chef in Popham, this is the one one Heson Bluminhell (sp) has revamped.

Meet Winchester in the layby near Junction 11 - Hockley Link - 51.03743, -1.31950

Arrive 7.45 ready to leave at 8am sharp

Route as below

I will be going up from Wimborne, so if people want to Nonvoy we can meet at Ringwood at say 7:00 for a 7:15 departure?
Having done a few Womble runs in deepest Hampshire, I can recommend the roads, the locals are a bit odd with a penchant for wearing Superman T shirts in public!

Mmmm... me too as it's nice and early. Let me check with security clearance.

Checked. I'm up for it.... From my understanding we're talking the layby that used to be the Hockley lights right ??? Are we talking Southbound or Northbound layby ???

Ok Any BoLOCs want to come... let's meet at the pavillion at 0700 for and 0715 departure....

That would be an 0730 Ringwood flypast off/on ramp at the A338 exit DGR if you're interested.. otherwise you'll be way ahead of us.

Sounds like this would be a good laugh - we watched the thing with Heston on the TV the other day - amazing really what they achieved!

I am not sure we'll be around on Sunday morning though, but if so we'll see you there!!

What is the ETA for getting to Popham?

How many miles is it FW? I`m on nights and I may be interested, but I have to keep the miles down on the Mini as its due a service!
It would be cutting it fine but I finish just before 8, but obviously its not far to go to the meeting point! hmmmm?!?!

Depending how many BoLOCs are going I could look for an interesting route home but I'd need to head off from Popham soon after 10, dependent on Heston's revised service levels.

Blimey - looks like we have a plan Cap'n Grinnders! I'll form up the Ringwood contingent then and wait for the flypast at 7:30.

Fatwomble think we may have unlocked the secret of getting the Bolocs out of Dorset........Food!

OK dokes DGR. There's that Fishermans' crescent-shaped layby just between the exit off the A31 and the A338.. I'll assume that's where you'll all hang out.

I've got this return option F to G which you see is going over some of the same ground as last weekend.. that single track road

Gutted! We were talking about taking a mission down from Leeds to Popham Little Chef. Heston is great, and has good taste in cars. I remember him saying he had an M3 and thought he had got pretty handy with power oversteer...Until he was showing off to a couple of mates and caught a kerb coming off a roundabout. Subsequently got the M5 to calm himself down!

Please post up some pics - would love to see them.

It was heaving when I went passed the other day, hope it doesn't fill up too early on a Sunday frown

If it does it won't be your fault.... I'll just have to reactivate the jinx of the twenty minute stayer and no breakfast.

Two meeting points: - Pavilion leaving at 7:15 with Grinnders, 7:30 from the A338 junction with me. on the Salisbury side there is a layby with some confused fisherermen!

let us know which one you'll be at, so we know to wait for you.
