I like!

Don't have a pic but I'd say stuts will be along in the next 24 hours with plenty .

I particularly like that it looks slate grey in some lights, green in others ..

Why is the colour not popular ? Out of 146 993's I can find for sale, only 2 are Aventurine Green !

Green hasn't been popular for years. Just a fashion thing. Look at any prestige marque and they all seem to be Silver Black, Grey or Blue.

It's called Aventura.

It looks grey with a hint of green in most lights.

It's a much under-rated colour.

.....It's an interesting colour and IMO certainly better than any silver.....but of course each to their own. In different lights it does take on different hues.....in fact I have old MOT's that state the colour as green, blue and grey.

Aventura green metallic is a colour we`ve always done very well with on 993`s. Traditionally the trade has frowned on it but we find it great. I think the fact it has green in the title is the problem. As has already been said it`s more grey than green. If you`re considering buying a 993 remember they are quite old cars now. A lot more bad ones than good ones so worry more about actual car`s condition rather than it`s spec, age, model colour etc.

I like both Aventura and the later Rainforest green.

But then I also quite like Savannah leather paperbag

Both the cars I found forsale, have been up for sale for a while ??

Is this down to the colour ?

A question for the 993 boys -

When looking to buy yours, should this colour of come up, would you of looked twice at it ?

confused

...I was after a dark colour manual with a black interior.....when I saw it advertised I thought it looked black in the photos but when I phoned the dealer they said it was Aventura....went to see it....liked what I saw and bought it.

I like it as it is 'different'.
It looks good when the car is clean and it is a bright day.
If the car is dirty and the day is dull it can look a bit uninspiring, but that is the same for lots of metallic greys.

I looked at one before buying mine and dismissed it because of the colour. I eventually bought a Polar Silver car from the same dealer. IIRC the Aventura car sat around for a long time even though it was very competitively priced.

My appologies to any of the 993 boys on here who have Aventura cars. No offence intended, it just wasn't for me.

When I was looking , I passed on a quite a few cars because of their condition , colour would never have been a deciding factor (though I was hoping 'the one' didn't turn out to be silver*)

If I had found an Aventura is in really good nick ,I would have jumped at it.

ETA* .. Sorry PP , hadn't read your post , but it just goes to show , variety is the spice!
